You may remember a segment we posted about here a little while back wherein parents were surveyed regarding the appropriate, permissible ages for kids to engage in a host of different activities. Today, we rolled out the second part in that series. This morning, Willie Geist sat down with Parenting magazine’s Elizabeth Shaw, etiquette expert Harriette Cole and author Edward Ugel to discuss children’s maturity and the proper ages for reaching certain milestones, such as trick-or-treating alone, owning a cell phone and dating.

Do you agree with the results of this survey? Is 13 the right age to be trick-or-treating alone (or even trick-or-treating at all)? What sort of parameters have you set in your own household? Watch the video and share your thoughts in the comment section.
