Sometimes the best birthday presents are the ones you least expect. When 4-year-old Madison Peck opened a wrapped framed photo from her parents, she had no idea she'd be getting what she always wanted: a baby sister.

Katherine Peck said she first heard her daughter's desire to be a big sibling two years ago while visiting a chapel. Madison kneeled down in the church, and prayed for a sister.

"I knew I would do anything in my power to get back to China and adopt again," Peck told TODAY.com.

The family is amazed by all positive responses from the video and said they are just happy to be "bringing smiles and happy tears to others." They had posted it hoping to inspire others to adopt.

Charlotte, their new addition will be coming home late spring or early summer.
