The Bel Air home of Zsa Zsa Gabor went up for sale on Tuesday with an asking price of $15 million, while the 94 year-old Hollywood actress recovered in hospital from her latest medical setback.

The house, built in 1955 in the exclusive hillside Los Angeles neighborhood, boasts four bedrooms, five bathrooms and a pool, real estate agent Christophe Choo said.

Gabor's ninth husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, first talked about selling the house in January, saying it was too big for the couple. He said at the time he wanted $28 million for the house but Choo said on Tuesday that price was unrealistic.

Gabor has said in the past that the house was once lived in by Elvis Presley and that it was originally built for aviator and industrialist Howard Hughes, but Choo said he could find no records to support those claims.

Gabor's spokesman said on Tuesday that von Anhalt is also planning to auction Gabor's vast collection of gowns, shoes, furniture and antiques later this year.

"He wants to move to a high rise near the hospital or a gated community," spokesman John Blanchette said.

Gabor, the Hungarian-born star of 1950s films "Moulin Rouge" and "Lili", has been in and out of hospital repeatedly since breaking her hip a year ago and having her leg amputated in January because of a gangrene infection.

Now bedridden and having lost her ability to speak after a stroke, she recently recovered from another bout of pneumonia but has been in hospital again for about a week with an infection at the site of a feeding tube, Blanchette said.
