Members of the very first Team USA women's ski jump team, Lindsey Van, Jessica Jerome and Sarah Hendrickson, join TODAY's Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie to discuss what it's like to make history.

The three members were instrumental to making the women’s event part of the Winter Games. While disappointed by not being able to medal, they expressed pride at being Olympic trailblazers. “For me it’s just a privilege to compete next to these girls and be part of this historical day because it really is exciting,” said Hendrickson, who competed despite her ongoing recovery from a knee injury. “I worked my butt off to be here so I have to be proud about that.”
