Here are their stories:

Name: Tom CrawfordFrom: Hoquiam, WAJob: Log Truck Driver, Jackson Timber Industry

In the last 20 years, my dad, Tom Crawford, has only taken two weeks of vacation. The first vacation was in the year 1986 and the second in 1996. According to my calculations, vacation time is well overdue. He has lived in Hoquiam, Washington the majority of his life with the bulk of his time spent driving a log truck. In an average week he works approximately 14 hours per day, Monday through Friday, and 8 hours washing the truck on Saturday. I recently got married, but all my life he has worked very hard taking care of my mom, whom suffers from Fibromyalgia, my sister and I. Although this is a "submit yourself" type of contest, my dad would never submit himself even though he deserves it. Our family would greatly appreciate it if the "Today" show could give my dad "Freedom from his Job." Thank you.

Name: Tracy CunninghamFrom: Birmingham, ALJob: Chief Administrative Officer, Southeastern School of Cosmetology

I help my father run two private occupational schools and it's time for re-accreditation. Aside from all the other daily duties I have, I now have to catch up and make sure we're in compliance. I'm the financial aid person, the recruiter, the admissions person, the accreditation liaison, Department of Education liaison, and every other administrative job there is to do. I'm stressed to the max, and not to mention I have three boys at home that I have to raise, alone. I also take my laptop home everyday, so I'm working nights and on the weekends. Oh did I mention, a new class starts next week. I have to key in Pell grant apps, check for processing, call students, collect paperwork from students, and make sure they pay their fees. And most of our students decide on Sunday they want to start school on Monday. Mass hysteria!

Name: Frankie DayFrom: Columbia, South CarolinaJob: Dental Assistant, Drs. Strauss & Hoffman, DMD

My job sucks! Literally, I've been sucking spit for 33 years. Can you think of a better reason for a day off from work? As a dental assistant in the same office for the past 20 years, I'm called on by everyone including Dr. Hoffman, Dr. Strauss, the receptionist, other assistants, hygienist, and patients. On most days, I'm a second mother, counselor, nurturer, hand holder, and matchmaker. You name it. I've done it. I'm exhausted and need a break! Please, I need a day off! What a dream come true if I could be in New York City with Katie, Matt, Al, and Ann! Wow! And, Barry Manilow!! I'm his BIGGEST fan and have been since he began. Please, please, please choose me!
