Whitney Port's glamour girl image came through as the starlet debuted her Whitney Eve fall collection Wednesday at New York Fashion Week.

Port, known for appearances on MTV's "The Hills" and "The City," showed a line of flirty dresses and sleek separates. The inspiration came from an antique kaleidoscope she found in her grandmother's house. Port launched the collection in 2008. This was her first runway show under the Lincoln Center tents at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Port sent about two dozen looks down the runway as model and actor Tyson Beckford watched from the front row. The dresses were made with flowing floral fabric and the tops had ruffles at the sleeves. Other pieces were sheer and embellished with sequined stripes or large sparkly polka dots. Port cut some of her hemlines shorter in the front and let them go longer in the back. Small but noticeable accessories were added to looks: gold safety pin brooches and wallet chains.

Just in case you were wondering whether this was going to be an ultra-feminine line, the runway show started with Beyonce's "Run the World (Girls)."
