Take one part sweet sentiment and one part good-natured joking, add a heartfelt mash-up of pop songs, and you have wedding-speech gold.

Daniel Buccheri, a singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia, wanted to avoid delivering a conventional best-man speech in his brother Adrian's wedding to his wife, Sarah, so he put his musical talents to work. Using personalized lyrics with the backing of songs ranging from Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" and the Police's "Every Breath You Take" to hits by R. Kelly and the Backstreet Boys, he had his brother and new sister-in-law in tears by the end of the six-minute mash-up.

The video has been viewed more than a million times since Buccheri posted it on Facebook on April 3.

"I actually got quite emotional last night when I realized what was happening,'' Buccheri wrote on Facebook. "As a singer/songwriter you leave yourself quite vulnerable when sharing your original work for the world to judge, so to get such a positive and heartfelt response has been quite overwhelming."

He added, "I've always said that all I want to do with my music is to make people feel something. To know how many people worldwide have gotten emotional and been touched by this video is a feeling so deep in my heart. We live in such a negative world where we are continually forced to hold ourselves back from achieving greatness and if I can shine a light with the gift I've been given, then that's what I'm going to do."
