The president of the University of New Hampshire is now outright reversing, rather than just delaying, a decision to ban the sale of energy drinks on campus.

Hours after the university announced on Monday that it would no longer sell energy drinks starting in January, President Mark Huddleston said the ban would be delayed until he got more information about the beverages and heard from students. On Thursday, he said he has reviewed sales and other data and sees no reason to eliminate something students want.

While others had raised concerns about students mixing the drinks with alcohol, Huddleston says students aren't buying multiple servings that might imply binge drinking behavior and there is no clear evidence that students are abusing the drinks.
