1. TODAY is mourning the loss of a family member: The anchors remembered Jim Lovell, an audio technician and father of four who died in Sunday’s train crash in New York City.
"Everybody loved him," said Al. “He always had a smile and a kind word," added Natalie.
2. Al, Willie and Carson said goodbye to their No-Shave November beards, and transformed their faces into stubbly works of art – thanks to your help.
Fans voted for goatees for Al and Carson and a mustache for Willie. (Matt elected to keep his beard!) Whose new (facial) ‘do do you like best?
3. When 4-year-old Noah Fisher found out he’d have to wear glasses to school, he burst into tears.
His mom took to Facebook, and asked friends to show Noah just how awesome glasses can be. The response, as his parents pointed out this morning, was wonderful.
4. Dozens of families submitted audition videos to become TODAY’s “Sound of Music” family. Take a listen to the top three contenders, and let us know which family you think should win. (Don’t let this kid’s dance moves sway you – or do!)
