Tell TODAY: What do you say in awkward situations?

Have you ever found yourself in one of those awkward social situations where you didn’t know what to say? Who hasn’t? Share your stories, and you may be featured on a TODAY segment next week called What Do You Say?

You've got a friend with really bad breath. Do you tell them they stink, offer a mint and hope they get the hint, or just keep quiet?

On a cross-country flight, the kid in the row behind you keeps kicking your seat. Do you turn around and tell him to knock it off, or grit your teeth and bear it?

One of your co-workers dresses like she's headed out for a night of clubbing instead of a day of working 9-to-5. Do you mention that her plunging necklines and micro-minis might be inappropriate?

TODAY wants to hear your stories of awkward social situations — and what you said. Did you get it just right, or stick your foot in your mouth? (It happens!)

Of course, there are also the big conversation-stopping moments: A friend announces she's lost her job, is getting divorced, or has just been diagnosed with cancer. Do you know what to say?

Vote: What do you say when a friend loses a job?

Or maybe you've been on the receiving end: Has anyone ever said something outrageously inappropriate to you that turned a situation awkward? Here's your chance to vent.

Share your stories with TODAY (below), and you may be featured in our on-air segment next week.
