A 6-year-old battling a rare form of cancer deserves all the special treats she can get. So no wonder Taylor Rayburn's mom Allison wanted to treat her to a special show when Taylor Swift came to town to perform!
But the surprises for little Taylor didn't end there: She also got to meet her idol. Just check out the jubilant Facebook post Allison put up Sunday, following Swift's Atlanta show.
Little Taylor's birthday was in June, but she'd been diagnosed in late April with a Stage 3 Wilms' tumor, which is a rare kidney cancer affecting children according to the Tuscaloosa News. She's had surgery to remove the tumor and one of her kidneys, and her mom said she was in the hospital on her actual birthday.
And here's little Taylor, standing next to big Taylor's mom Andrea (who is also battling cancer) in the audience:
"Dreams really do come true!" Allison wrote in another Facebook post.
They do indeed.
