Twelve years after his death, beloved children's poet Shel Silverstein is doing his best Tupac Shakur impersonation.

The children's story writer came out with a new book called "Every Thing On It." It features a collection of unpublished poetry and drawings by the late artist.

Although Silverstein, who passed away in 1999, is originally from Chicago, he took to spending a lot of his time in his later years in Sausalito, Calif.

Silverstein reportedly lived on a houseboat in the San Francisco Bay and he was known for frequenting local restaurants, including The Food Company and hanging out with local talent.

He even wrote a poem about the city he loved so much.

His latest book features works that Silverstein worked on later in his life and never published. While "Sausalito Witch" is not for children, Silverstein's latest offering is aimed at kids.

It is available from Amazon and other retailers for $10.99.
