Before 60-year-old Shirley Clements hangs up her dancing shoes and retires from Panorama Ridge Secondary School next year, she decided to leave her students with one last lesson: Teacher knows best.

During a hip-hop routine set to the Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars megahit "Uptown Funk," Clements seriously schooled the kids — and everyone else watching — with her amazing moves.

Keep your eyes on the younger generation of hoofers as they try to keep up with her, but be sure to shift your focus back to Clements before it's over as she flips the routine on its head — by spinning on her head.

The performance at the Canadian school took place back in January, but after getting the attention of Ellen DeGeneres and others around the Web, Clements is getting a fresh dose of well-deserved viral fame.

See even more from the departing teacher in this earlier rendition of the same number — complete with an introductory rap.

"I hate to leave you, but it's time to go," she shouts out to audience. "I sure will miss you in Mexico."

We have no doubt they'll miss her even more!
