Swiss media report that a teenage girl has been injured after one or more shots were fired at a Geneva apartment belonging to French actor Alain Delon.

Daily newspaper Tribune de Geneve reports the shots were accidentally fired during a party at the property late Thursday and Delon wasn't present.

The Le Matin tabloid reported the party was hosted by Delon's 17-year-old son Alain-Fabien.

Geneva police spokesman Philippe Cosandey declined Friday to confirm the reports but said an investigation was under way after an incident at a private property.

The 75-year-old actor rose to fame when he starred in "Purple Noon," a 1960 film adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's novel "The Talented Mr. Ripley." Delon has lived in Switzerland for several years and obtained Swiss citizenship.
