(Absolutely) giving their loyal fans what they wanted in every frame. My daughter is going to see it a 2nd time, and we will be buying the DVD as well. Concerned that the script would be too much forgettable fluff and not enough substance, causing critics to pan it. I was awed by the meaningful, insightful dialoge that went far beyond my expectations. Our rating ... 4 stars for a completely entertaining package. — CJB, Clovis, Calif.

I had never watched Sex and the City before, but I enjoyed the movie. It is a perfect girls night out movie, with many laughs and as many tears. I could watch this movie again and again. — Deborah, Lampasas, Texas

Sex showcases the best in all women, single or married, but I believe it allows us to be happy with whomever we are. It was not too deep, not too sad, not too mushy, I think it was just right. I think women everywhere should go and see it. Have a little fun and just enjoy the fashion and a girl's night out. Entertainment value 5 stars and what else would you be looking for. — Judy, Boston, Mass.

Loved loved loved it!!! The girls, the clothes, the bags, shoes, belts, NYC, the guys, the closets, that wonderful Mario Cantone, the whole bit. The women grew, they learned the art of compromise which is an important aspect of love and relationships, and the Cinderella ending was to die for. PERFECTION in all and I can't wait for the DVD with hoped for lots of extra features and maybe a Chanel bag or two to boot! — Stephanie, Fort Myers, Fla.

Saw it opening night and it was fabulous! I have seen all the original episodes many times and felt that this was a very fitting 'end' to my favorite series. I laughed, I cried, I laughed, I cried and then I did it all again. It was fabulous! — Jennie, Enterprise, Ala.

I went and saw the midnight showing the day it opened up, and it was fantastic. I think I may have been the only straight man in the theater, though. :) It causes laughter, tears, and most emotions in between. Perfectly done ... hopefully they do another. (Carrie should have ended up with Aidan, though, but that's a whole different issue!) — Jayk, Wilmington, N.C.

It was like a wonderful step back in time. When the series started I was 39 and went through a lot of the same adventures as the girls. As I am most similar to Carrie, over the years Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda peeked their heads out from time to time. Thank you for the movie as I too will be turning 50 next year and instead of the usual dread and avoidance I am planning on turning 50 and fabulous! — Sally, Evanston, Ill.

I didn't watch the HBO series but enjoyed the movie anyway. It is definitely a chick flick that will make you laugh and cry and cheer. It is a celebration of friendship and love. Go see it with the girls! — Pam

Just saw it with my husband. It is "classic" Sex in the City! The movie was witty, cleverly written, and entertaining. Totally enjoyed it. The fashion was fabulous! Loved all of the purses and shoes. Now I have to go see it with my girlfriends! Can't wait for the sequel. — Lynne, Loudonville, N.Y.

The movie was better even than I expected, and I already had high expectations. If you love the series, you'll love, even more, the movie. It's as simple as that. ... The movie delivers. It's over the top with the fashion, but IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE! Yes, there are shoes and labels and materialistic undertones, but that is eye candy to support the real-life, aching adult dramas going on. It packed an emotional punch. — Susie

Got dresed up — found a great outfit and of course fabulous SHOES, gathered my best girls and we hit the first afternoon showing. All our excitement and efforts were not in vain — it was worth it! Anything good is worth waiting for and we waited 4 l-o-n-g years for Carrie and the girls to hit the big screen so they had a lot to deliver and deliver they did!!! Tears...yes, laughter...yes, heartache...yes, joy...yes, and LOVE...ab-so-F---ING-lutely. I don't usually say the "f-word" in real life, but come on girls, it's a classic Big quote and there really wasn't anything else that would do. Carrie asked Big in the very first episode if he'd ever been in love and that was his response and that's my response to this movie — I was in love with every last minute. — Anonymous in Phoenix
