Do practice gratitude: "No matter what the circumstances, on a daily basis I try to take a deep breath and be thankful for all that I have ... Making a concerted effort to count your blessings every day is the absolute key to happiness.”

Don't lose sight of what's important: "We need the will to look up, look out and look around for all we have to be thankful for and share what we have.”

Matt

Do enjoy today: "Over the last few years, I’ve tried to say, ‘I’m going to take more time, I’m going to take a deep breath, I’m going to do nothing at points during the day or just sit down with the kids and play a game.’ There have been so many more nice moments because I try not to get ahead of myself anymore.”

Don't postpone adventure: “I love traveling and taking my kids to new places, challenging them and opening their eyes to a different location or culture.”

Al

Do feed your passions: “The importance is to find things that feed off of your passions and the things you really love and enjoy."

Don't sweat the small stuff: "If something happens, you know what? Stuff happens. Don’t beat yourself up. Don’t give up. Get back on it.”

Natalie

Do take time for yourself: “In order to be the best parent, the best wife, the best person I can be, I know I need time for myself."

Don't be so hard on yourself: "Accept the fact right now that you can’t do it all or have it all. You just have to be happy living each day to your best.”
