A little fun on the campaign trail turned into a fumble for Republican presidential hopeful Marco Rubio.
During a Tuesday stop in Des Moines, Iowa, Rubio decided to toss a football around with a group of local kids, but unfortunately, it didn't not go according to plan.
After a few successful passes, the Florida senator threw the ball toward a tyke and it hit the tiny player right the head.
Ouch! And oops!
The kid is just fine, but Rubio soon found himself on the receiving end of some online ribbing.
But he tossed back a response to his game critics.
