Bob Hoover died this week at the age of 94. He flew with the 52nd Fighter Group during World War II, and was held by the Nazis for 16 months before escaping and flying to safety with a stolen German plane. Hoover went on to be a test and stunt pilot, choosing to fly always in a suit and tie.
