Rafael “Felo” Ramirez began broadcasting in 1945 in his native Cuba. His career spanned the next seven decades, during which he became an icon in Latin American baseball. The Spanish-speaking announcer, who was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001, died this week at the age of 94.
