First Kim Kardashian and Duchess Kate were locked in a style-off — and now fans have them facing off in a due-date battle.
"I'm due in July," Kim revealed on TODAY Tuesday morning, calling the pregnancy a "pleasant surprise" in light of her fertility issues.
Her announcement came the day after the Palace released more information on Duchess Kate's pregnancy, including the key detail that the royal is expecting her child in July.
British bookies are getting in on the action: Paddy Power initially offered 66 to 1 odds that the women would give birth on the same day, but quickly had to scale it back due to the amount of attention the bet received.
"There's been so much interest that we're now running scared and have cut the price to 25/1!" Féilim Mac An Iomaire, a spokesman for Paddy Power, told TODAY.com via email.
"We've taken over 100 bets, mainly small ones, and should they give birth on the same date we'll be hit to the tune of €8,000," Iomaire added.
Meanwhile U.K. betting house Ladbrokes is favoring July 17 for Duchess Kate's due date, and will pay out 50 to 1 odds if she gives birth on the same day as Kim.
If the women give birth in the same week Ladbrokes will pay 7 to 1 odds, and 6 to 1 odds are being offered if Kate's baby arrives before Kim's.
Betters stand to make the most money if both ladies have twins, for which Ladbrokes is currently offering 100 to 1 odds.
A multitude of other bets can be placed on the two babies, from what they will be named to what hair color they'll be born with.
Kim first confirmed she was pregnant in December, after boyfriend Kanye West let the news slip at his show.
Kate was also forced to announce her pregnancy in December after she was hospitalized with hyperemesis gravidarum (severe morning sickness).
This isn't the first time the famous ladies have found themselves compared to each other.
Earlier this month, Designer Roland Mouret said Kim actually has more impact on women's fashion than Kate, a statistic TODAY.com readers had a hard time believing: 91% of you said your personal style was more royal than reality-star.
But Kim, who has gushed over the way Kate dresses in the past, will likely be looking to the Duchess for style tips over the course of her pregnancy.
"I personally love Kate's classic style," she said last year.
While neither woman has leaked their specific due date yet, one July date could prove particularly poignant: Princess Diana was born on July 1.
"It would be fitting if Kate and Wills' newborn shared the same birthday as Princess Diana," said Ladbrokes spokesperson Jessica Bridge, "but unfortunately the odds suggest it's not meant to be."
