A group of Oakland elementary school students showed their excitement over meeting Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry on Tuesday by showering the red hot shooting guard with cups of water.
The kids took inspiration from Curry's Warriors teammate, Draymond Green, who has made a habit of splashing water on Curry to cool him off after an explosive scoring night.
The soggy moment fell in line with Curry's health-conscious message to the kids at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School.
During the half hour visit, Curry advocated that the children choose water as a healthy alternative to sugary drinks.
Brita, which is a sponsor of the Warriors, was also installing water filters at the school.
