Kathie Lee and Hoda set their alarms just a bit earlier Wednesday morning in order to join Matt at the TODAY anchor desk.
"You're kidding right?" Matt joked after introducing the ladies as the morning's co-anchors.
Wednesday marks the first time Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, hosts of TODAY's fourth hour, have anchored the top of the show together.
"We kept it totally clean in the cups," Hoda joked, revealing that her TODAY mug didn't contain any wine.
"We're sorry Barbara Walters couldn't make it. You're stuck with us!" Kathie Lee followed up.
Kathie Lee and Hoda talked style with Vogue's Chloe Malle, who joined the ladies to talk about her new book Vogue & The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute: Parties, Exhibitions, People,” which covers the events most memorable moments.
They also dove in to "life's most philosophical questions," by meeting some stars of Guinness World Records 2015.
