Besides a growing baby bump, Kate Hudson has something else to show off — her jaw-dropping engagement ring!

The 32-year-old "Something Borrowed" star confirmed her engagement to Muse rocker Matthew Bellamy when Matt Lauer of TODAY pointed out the eye-catching bauble during an interview Wednesday. "I haven't really announced it, I was waiting for someone to notice," Hudson said.

Indeed, the rock now seems impossible to miss! Jewelry expert Michael O'Connor tells Us Weekly that Hudson's platinum-set ring with an emerald-cut diamond and tapered baguettes on the side is approximately nine carats and has an estimated value of a whopping $200,000.

"While Kate is known for her boho chic style and fun personality, this type of engagement ring style is classic and timeless,” O'Connor tells Us. "The emerald cut stones are typically top quality. They're usually set in platinum because it's a naturally white metal and won't cast any color onto the diamond."

The Oscar-nominated actress spilled that the "very romantic" proposal went down about a week ago in NYC. Hudson and Bellamy, 32, have been together since late spring 2010 and are expecting their first child in a couple of months.

No word on when or where the couple will wed.
