Talk about a lavish Christmas present!
After spending the holidays with their family in Namibia, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt donated $2 million to the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary, where the family stayed during their visit.
The African nation holds a special place in Jolie's heart: she gave birth to daughter Shiloh in Swakopmund, Namibia, in 2006.
"We want her to grow up with an understanding of her country of birth," Jolie, 35, explained of the endowment.

The sanctuary is home to mostly orphaned and injured animals that cannot be released back into the wild; it also offers luxury accommodations which raise money for conservation projects.
During the the family's visit, the Jolie-Pitt clan watched Dr. Van Duuren heal a wild dog and even saw a leopard get released back into the wild.
"They really enjoyed their trip," a local source told UsMagazine.com in December. "They were able to mingle with locals, visit Swakopmund and go to the beach there, and also the beach in their neighborhood."
