Never one to pull punches, Joan Rivers has given Charlie Sheen one right in the kisser.

"I think he's an a--. When you have a child, darling, you'd better start setting an example," the "Fashion Police" host said in an interview with The Advocate, which asked her opinion about the rehabbing father of five's recent behavior.

And that's not all she had to say...

"Childhood for you is over when you have a child," Rivers continued. "I find it outrageous to be carrying on like that. I also think that when you get the gold ring you have an obligation. The old studio system made you have an obligation to live a clean life and be the example. What am I going to tell my grandson who watches 'Two and Half Men'? I just think he's awful."

Well, there's a chance Rivers won't have to worry about anyone watching new episodes of "Two and a Half Men" for a while. The show has been put on production hiatus.

Sheen is currently undergoing treatment at an undisclosed location—though word is the location is his own house and the experts are coming to him.
