It's not every day that your grandmother, who also happens to be a former first lady of the United States of America, turns 91 years old.
That would explain why Jenna Bush Hager went all out on Instagram to celebrate grandma Barbara Bush's birthday yesterday in a series of emotional and sweet posts.

"The lovely enforcer on her 91st," Jenna wrote in one of the captions accompanying an image of her grandmother blowing out candles on a birthday cake.
On another, this one showing Barbara Bush holding Jenna's daughter Mila at a picturesque seaside location, Jenna wrote, "Happiest birthday Great Ganny. Glad we spent it with you."
Last year, the former first lady celebrated her birthday with a spirit of gratitude, telling TODAY that she's "been the luckiest woman in the world, truthfully. And I know it."

Barbara Bush also explained her nickname, "the enforcer,": "Because I enforce," she said, laughing. It's as simple as that.
"If you do something bad, I point it out to you."
Well, we're hoping nobody did anything bad on your birthday this year, and we're glad to know you spent it with your loving family. Here's to the year ahead!
