During halftime of a football game at her Dallas, Tex., high school, 16-year-old cheerleader Miranda Ferguson flipped 35 times across the football field. She even demonstrated her amazing handspring skills on TODAY the following week. 

But at that football game, had she broken the official Guinness World Record for most handsprings in a row, at 32? A record's not technically a record until it's been certified by the Guinness folks. Two officials were on hand at her school to investigate. And Friday, the teen returned to the TODAY plaza, where she learned the fate of her incredible feat. Watch the video to see her big moment!
