A family is mourning the loss of U.S. Marine Charles Edward Withem after an EF-2 tornado claimed his life when it reduced their Arkansas home to rubble on Tuesday.
Withem, who did two tours of duty in Iraq, was at home with his wife and children when a tornado tore through their home in Ashdown, Arkansas.
"I feel like it's a nightmare that's not stopping," Withem's daughter, Juliana Ormsbee, tearfully told TODAY. "I cant believe he's gone. Everything he's not going to be able to do now. He will not be able to see any of us graduate or walk me down the aisle."
All three children, ranging in age from 6 to 16, survived with bruises and cuts, while Withem's wife, Roxanne, is in critical condition with injuries to her neck, back, lung, spleen and liver.
"She's my hero,'' Ormsbee said. "If I lose her, too, I don't now what I'll do."
The Withems have set up on online donation page in the wake of their tragic loss for those who wish to help the family.
