Gus and Gracie? Skier hints he has his eye on a special Valentine

"Love is in the air," American freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy told TODAY on Friday about the Olympic Village. And the silver medalist hinted he may have his eye on a special Valentine.

"You know my girl Gracie Gold is walking around," he said of the figure skater. "We've been hanging out together."

When asked if anything is brewing between the two, he played coy: "No, well maybe," he said. "She's a super cool girl."

The pair met through a mutual sponsor before the Sochi Games, and then snapped a cute photo behind the scenes of the Opening Ceremony.

They're a decorated duo: Gus took silver in the men's slopestyle event in freestyle skiing and Gracie won a bronze medal in the team figure skating competition. She next skates on Feb. 19 when the ladies' competition begins.

Gus may be one of the more eligible bachelors of the Games. He admitted he's looking for love on the social network dating app Tinder, and made women everywhere swoon with his campaign to save stray puppies.

Regardless if their Sochi spark turns into an Olympic flame, Gus is rooting for her skating success.

"Gracie, I hope you kill it," he said. "We'll be watching. Good luck!"
