Another e-book skeptic has converted: best-selling business writer Jim Collins.
Harper Business announced Wednesday that Collins has a new book coming out in October, "Great by Choice," and will make it available for downloads.
According to the publisher, "Great by Choice" will look into why "some companies thrive in uncertainty, even chaos, and others do not." It says the book will be "classic Collins: contrarian, data-driven, and uplifting."
The author also has agreed to e-editions of his million-selling "Good to Great," starting July 19. Three other Collins works will come out as e-books by late September: "Built to Last," "How the Mighty Fall" and "Good to Great and the Social Sectors."
As sales for e-books have jumped in the past three years, numerous holdouts have changed their minds. J.K. Rowling announced recently that her Harry Potter books would come out in digital form this fall.
