George Lopez is making like close pal Sandra Bullock and filing for divorce.
The late-night funnyman and his missus, Ann Lopez (née Serrano), have announced plans to end a 17-year union that literally saw her save his life.
Suffering from a genetic kidney disorcer, the "Lopez Tonight" host received one of his wife's organs via successful transplant surgery in 2005.

"The decision is amicable and by mutual agreement," they said in a joint statement released through his publicist. "They remain dedicated parents, and committed partners in business and their philanthropic organization, the Lopez Foundation."
The couple, who tied the knot in 1993, have a 15-year-old daughter, Mayan.
