LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Chris Diamantopoulos, who played Frank Sinatra in the recent "Kennedys" miniseries, is closing in on a deal to join Sean Hayes and Will Sasso in the Farrelly brothers' Three Stooges movie.

The Canadian actor would play Moe opposite Hayes' Larry and Sasso's Curly. Rehearsals are set to begin next week for the 20th Century Fox release.

"The Three Stooges" will be divided into roughly three half-hour vignettes. Diamantopoulos' other credits include the 2005 TV movie "Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of "Mork and Mindy," in which he played Robin Williams, and season 8 of "24."
