Want to plan an amazing proposal? Just ask Ed Sheeran for help.

In May, the singer-songwriter paused a concert so a fan could pop the question to his girlfriend onstage. Now Sheeran has serenaded another happy couple for their engagement.

On Sunday, Jake Roche of the band Rixton proposed to singer Jesy Nelson with a little musical accompaniment from the redheaded 24-year-old.

Roche shared an image of the special moment on Instagram, writing, "A year ago today I met her at Manchester Arena, so it was only right, with a little help from my friend, that this happened. Best day of my life."

The groom-to-be also took to Twitter to thank Sheeran for traveling five hours to be part of his big day. Fortunately, Sheeran was rewarded with KFC for his generosity.

Sheeran is known for his warmhearted gestures to both friends and fans.

In March, he appeared at the wedding of Kya and Matt Debono in Sydney, Australia, to perform his ballad "Thinking Out Loud."

And last November, he granted one of 19-year-old Katie Papworth's last wishes, accepting her marriage proposal just days before she died from cancer.
