Herve Leger by Max Azria locked his bandage dresses behind leather body harnesses from neck to waist at New York Fashion Week, calling them a "study in seduction and restraint" for fall.
Paired with gladiator boots in black leather, he called the harnesses and wide belts with the same look "equestrian inspired," using them in black and cognac on dresses to the ground and above the knee.
Other shapes were pleated and patterned in swingy pleated silhouettes. Some of the standard Leger bandage dresses were embellished with beads.
Azria paired a black leather stamped python motorcycle jacket with beaded sleeves and a black leather pleated skirt. He also used the python print in a black motorcycle vest, on a fringed jacket in brown and one in black with beaded detail.
Gold hardware adorned a strapless dress in alabaster worn with one of the wide leather belts.
Camila Alves, Kristin Chenoweth, Poppy Montgomery, Nina Dobrev and model Beverly Johnson were among celebrities in the front row.
