Dr. Drew Pinsky is the one in need of close medical attention, for a change.

The "Celebrity Rehab" ringmaster spent last night in the hospital being treated for leptospirosis, an infectious disease that causes jaundice, muscle pain, fever and, in some cases, hemorrhages in the eyes and skin.

And all the man wanted to do was romance his wife!

"Leaving VERY early tomorrow on our second honeymoon. Secret destination but bring shorts and sunglasses," Pinsky tweeted on Jan. 7, hinting he and the missus were going somewhere sunny and warm.

They were back in the States by yesterday morning, with the "Love Line" doc writing, "Traveling since 12:30 am Pacifc. Now back in US in Miami. Oh, joy customs."

Well, it's no wonder he was in a bad mood! A little more than 24 hours later, he tweeted, "Spent the night as a patient in the hospital. Seems I may have picked up Leptospirosis in the West Indies. This is just brutal."

Get well soon, Dr. Drew!
