Congratulations to Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy! The "Homeland" star's rep confirmed to People that the actress gave birth to Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy on Dec. 17.

Danes, 33, announced in July that she was expecting. She continued to play rogue CIA officer Carrie Mathison on Showtime's hit drama while pregnant. "We're in the middle of filming our second season and luckily, we've been able to conceal (my belly)," she said during an interview on "Live! With Kelly" on Sept. 4. The pregnancy was not written into the show.

Danes won an Emmy for the role in September. During her acceptance speech, she thanked hubby Dancy. "My husband, my love, my life, my baby daddy. This doesn't mean anything without you." Dancy, also an actor, has had movie and TV roles, including "Basic Instinct 2" and "The Big C."

The baby boy is the pair's first child.
