During the height of the panic and despair surrounding the attacks in Paris on Friday night, Joann Sfar, a cartoonist for the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, shared a moving drawing on Instagram.
Sfar, who could not be immediately reached for comment, typically uses French in his cartoons, but chose English for this particular sketch. The cartoon depicts a perturbed looking man and a speech bubble stating the following:
"Friends from the world, thank you for #prayforParis, but we don't need more religion! Our faith goes to music! Kisses! Life! Champagne and joy!"

On social media, at the time Sfar posted the cartoon, #PrayForParis was widely circulating, but now Sfar's hashtag is also taking off.
One tweeter noted that it's an ideal hashtag for those who not not practice religion to share.

The cartoon and its hashtag is particularly special because less than a year ago, Charlie Hebdo was the target of a deadly terrorist attack when gunmen affiliated with the Islamist terrorist group opened fire in the Charlie Hebdo offices, killing 12 people.
