CFM International, a joint venture between General Electric and Safran, said it notched up orders for 420 engines worth $4.2 billion at the Paris Air Show.

The deals included CFM56-5B engines to power 129 Airbus A320 aircraft and CFM56-7B engines to power 81 Boeing 737 planes, CFM said on Thursday.
