LOS ANGELES, Feb 3 (Reuters Life!) - "Real Housewives" star Camille Grammer -- the soon to be ex-wife of actor Kelsey Grammer -- has landed a role on TV comedy "$#*! (Bleep) My Dad Says", the CBS network said on Thursday.

Grammer will guest star as "Camille, a divorcee and reality series star" who is given help to find a new house by characters on the show, which stars William Shatner as a grouchy, plain-speaking father.

She will make her appearance in the season finale of the CBS comedy on Feb 17.

Grammer, 42, a former Playboy model and dancer, became a lightning rod of controversy on the hit reality show "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" which was filmed as her 13-year marriage to former "Frasier" actor Kelsey Grammer was falling apart last year.

Divorce proceedings are currently going through the Los Angeles courts and Kelsey Grammer plans to marry his new girlfriend later this month.

"The Real Housewives" TV franchise has created a slew of new faces for celebrity media in the past five years, and some cast members have gone on to get their own spin-off TV shows.

But few have been so polarizing as Camille Grammer in the "Beverly Hills" series that ended last month.

Cable channel Bravo on Thursday announced that a new series, set in Miami for the first time, would make its debut on Feb 22. Two of the Miami "Housewives" are wives or ex-wives of basketball players.
