Just like the rest of the world, Prince William’s stepmother hopes the newest member of the royal family will arrive sooner than later.
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, announced during a visit to a children’s hospice on Monday that “we’re all waiting at the end of the telephone.”
The newest heir to the British throne is expected any day now but the child's parents, Prince William and Duchess Kate, have never revealed a due date other than “mid-July.”
Camilla let slip that she's eagerly anticipating the future king or queen's arrival.
“Hopefully by the end of the week, he or she will be there,” she said.

Duchess Kate's maternity style
A horde of media has camped outside of the London hospital where Duchess Kate will deliver but the expectant mother has been nowhere in sight.
Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, reportedly spent the weekend with her family in Bucklebury, about 60 miles outside of London. Prince William, meanwhile, participated in a charity polo match played two hours away from home.
