LONDON (Reuters) - British crime writer P.D. James, creator of fictional detective Adam Dalgliesh, has died at the age of 94, her agent said on Thursday.

LONDON (Reuters) - British crime writer P.D. James, creator of fictional detective Adam Dalgliesh, has died at the age of 94, her agent said on Thursday.

Phyllis Dorothy James, Baroness James of Holland Park, was the author of 20 books, most of which have been filmed and broadcast on television in Britain and the United States.
