The Atlanta Braves have a super-cute alternative to the traditional baseball stadium "kiss cam" this season — the "Simba cam."

The Braves kicked off the "Simba Cam" tradition earlier this season in honor of their shortstop Andrelton Simmons, who goes by the nickname "Simba."

It's pretty much as one would expect: Parents hold up their babies just like Rafiki held Simba in "The Lion King." The "Simba cam" is set to Elton John's "Circle of Life," the hit song from the “Lion King” soundtrack, and the entire thing is caught on the big stadium screen.

Braves fans have been in on the trend all season and, this weekend, the trend went viral.

People are already doing it with their dogs.

TODAY viewers joined in on the trend on Facebook and Twitter using #OrangeRoom, and the results were as adorable and hilarious as you might expect.
