Just kidding!

During a rambling one-hour interview on the "Howard Stern Show" Wednesday, David Arquette, 39, said he may be losing it, saying "I believe so," when the radio host asked if he was having a nervous breakdown.

Now the actor, who appeared on the show for the third time since splitting with wife Courteney Cox, 46, in October, says he was just kidding around.

"It is being reported that I'm having a Nervous Breakdown," he tweeted Thursday. "I assure you am not. This stemmed from a joke I made."

As for his other painfully honest admissions — he admitted he's "been drinking a lot" and said he'd like to father a child with ex Drew Barrymore — Arquette makes no apologies.

"I always speak my mind and I really don't care what people that don't know me may say," he wrote. "I'm a good person with a huge heart. I thank those that have been on my side during this rough time."
