From the Bushmen of Africa to the exotic creatures of the jungle to the mysteries of outer space, the transfixing images from National Geographic have captivated readers for more than 100 years. National Geographic is out with a collection of their greatest photographs called “Through the Lens.” Editor Leah Bendavid-Val and National Geographic photographer Chris Johns, whose work is featured in the book, talk to “Today” about the project.
