A Connecticut casino and a millionaire cable TV network executive have settled a dispute over a $1.2 million gambling debt.

The Mohegan Sun casino filed a court document saying it is withdrawing its lawsuit against Jerome Powers of Miami Beach, Fla., chief executive of the Plum TV network. A copy of the document was obtained Thursday by The Associated Press.

It does not disclose details of the settlement.

The casino's lawsuit said it loaned Powers $1.2 million for gambling in May 2009 and he failed to pay it back. Powers argued the credit agreement was illegal and that state courts lacked jurisdiction because the casino is run by the sovereign Mohegan Tribe.

A Mohegan Sun spokeswoman said she couldn't immediately comment. A message was left with Powers' lawyer.
