The smile on this 8-year-old’s face is warm enough to melt the ice of the rink of his beloved Boston Bruins.

Liam Fitzgerald, a leukemia survivor who has Down syndrome, was invited to sit on the Bruins bench during a pre-game skate Tuesday night. 

He then got to fist-bump the players as each one skated off the ice following the warm-up. A clip of the scene that was loaded onto YouTube has since gone viral, picking up more than 1.5 million views.
