Norwegian Cruise Line: Booking a future trip this April may help you receive some onboard freebies. From now until April 10, customers can pick one, two or four free onboard amenities depending on the type of stateroom they purchase. Freebies include a free beverage package, free specialty dining, shore excursion credit or a Wi-Fi package.

Royal Caribbean and Viking: Now is the time to take advantage of buy one, get one half off deals. From April 4 to May 1, you can buy one Caribbean cruise and get 50 percent off your companion ticket by logging onto RoyalCaribbean.com. Hoping to travel to Europe? Viking Cruises is offering two-for-one cruise fares on some of their most popular European itineraries. In preparation for wedding and graduation season, many retailers mark down their small kitchen appliances this time of year. Here are some deals to consider:

Best Buy: Spring cleaning fans can save 10 to 20 percent off robotic vacuums from brands such as Roomba, Samsung and Bissell. They can also enjoy savings of up to $130 on wine coolers, beer kegerators and compact refrigerators.

J.C. Penney: From April 1 to April 3, select blenders will be 30 to 40 percent off.

Macy’s: Coffee lovers can receive 30 percent off espresso makers and coffee brewers from brands such as Nespresso, Keurig and KitchenAid from April 6 to April 13.

Sears: Select housewares (including blenders and coffeemakers) will be 10 percent to 30 percent off from April 10 to April 16.

Williams-Sonoma: Select Breville food processors will be $50 off through April 3, Nespresso machines will be 25 percent off, and some Vitamix blenders with be $50 off.

You can prepare for wet April days by stocking up on rain gear this month. Some retailers also discount their athletic sneakers this time of year since it’s the start of outdoor running season.

DSW: The more you buy, the more you save at DSW. From April 1 to April 5, DSW is having an online-only promotion. Shoppers will save $10 off every $74 they spend, $25 off every $149 they spend, and $40 off every $199 they spend.

Kmart: Everlast Sport footwear is up to 20 percent off.

Sears: Select activewear (including windbreakers and hooded athletic jackets) will be up to 60 percent off, and Everlast adult athletic shoes will be 50 percent off.

Some restaurants and fast food chains offer their customers discounts, promos or freebies during Tax Day, which falls on April 18 this year. Here are some perks to take note of:

Boston Market: On Tax Day, chicken lovers can buy a half chicken individual meal with two sides, a regular fountain drink, cornbread and a cookie for just $10.40.

Bruegger’s Bagels: From April 15 to April 18, customers can buy a Big Bagel Bundle (any 13 bagels and 2 tubs of cream cheese) for $10.40. They must visit Brueggers.com to claim the offer.

Einstein Bros. Bagels: From April 14 to April 18, eClub members will receive $1 off their purchase by claiming their email offer.

Noodles & Co.: On April 18, customers will get a free kids meal when they buy an entree.

McDonald’s: Select McDonald’s stores will be offering Tax Day deals such as a free small coffee or a Quarter Pounder for 18 cents when you buy one full-priced Quarter Pounder.
