In what was the third largest Mega Millions jackpot of all time, the California Lottery announced early Saturday that a winning ticket for the $540 million jackpot was finally sold after a 35th drawing on Friday night — and it's going to make one lucky winner in Indiana very happy.

After a handful of unsuccessful drawings last week, the jackpot soared from $449 million to a whopping $540 million, amping up lottery fever around the nation.

The winning numbers were 8, 19, 20, 55 and 73, and the Mega Ball was 5.

2016 has seen some pretty large numbers so far — in January alone, three winning tickets were sold for a $1.58 billion Powerball jackpot.

While the winner has yet to come forward to claim the prize, this also marks the the seventh largest jackpot in U.S. history.

Now the only question is: When is the next time we can all try again?
