A chance to live like royalty and possibly run into Will and Kate during an afternoon stroll? Here’s the chance to sign up!
Two guest cottages located on Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham country estate in Norfolk, England, are now open as vacation rentals.
Guests can stay either in the Garden House, the former home of the estate's gardener, or at the Granary, which the property calls a "luxury barn conversion." Both cottages come fully furnished, including a washer, dryer, all towels and bed linens. Both cottages are available for rent by the week only.
Rates begin at 625 pounds (about $974) for the Garden House, which sleeps up to eight, and 600 pounds (about $935) for the Granary, which sleeps six.
There's a good chance that visitors to either home might catch a glimpse of their neighbors, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, while staying at Sandringham. Prince William and Duchess Kate currently make their home on the estate's 10-bedroom Anmer Hall. They also had their daughter, Princess Charlotte, baptized last month on the estate's St. Mary Magdalene Church.
