SNL-alum turned sought-after comedian and actress Kristen Wiig listed her SoHo loft for $2.595 million. According to property records, Wiig bought the two-bedroom loft at 476 Broadway, New York NY 10013 in 2009 for $1.5 million.

The home is currently empty, but that just shows off the apartment’s high ceilings and large windows all the better.

John Boehner buys Florida condo

Retirement rumors were already swirling around John Boehner. His purchase of a three-bed, three-bath condo in Florida’s Marco Island only fueled the fire.

However, Boehner’s spokesman says this doesn’t mean Boehner is ready to step away from his post as Speaker of the House anytime soon.

“This area of Florida has been the Boehners’ family vacation spot for many years, and rather than continue to put money into vacation rentals year after year, they decided to buy a condo,” Boehner spokesman Michael Steel told Politico.

The man who made his money selling Mexican fast food to the masses found it a little harder to sell his home. Steve Ells, who founded the Chipotle chain, recently sold his New York townhouse for $11.4 million, significantly under the home’s last asking price of $14.5 million. Ells first listed the home at 92 Jane St., New York, NY 10014 for $16.5 million.

The new buyer is actually the home’s current tenant, music industry mogul Lyor Cohen. Cohen clearly took advantage of the discounted price on the Greek Revival, as well as the fact that there won’t be any need to hire movers after he signs on the dotted line.
